About

Kirsten Doyle is a Toronto-based writer and editor who produces content for online and print media. Much of her work is inspired by the World Health Organization’s definition of wellness:

Wellness is not merely the absence of disease of infirmity, but a complete state of physical, mental and social wellbeing.

In accordance with this definition, Kirsten believes in the connection between a healthy body, a healthy mind, and a sense of social and environmental responsibility. In her writing, she strives to provide balanced, well-researched content in a wide variety of areas relating to individual and social wellness. Subjects she has written about extensively include the following:

  • Autism and special needs
  • Running, fitness and nutrition
  • Mental illness, including depression, post partum depression and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Environmental sustainability and green living
  • Family and parenting
  • Social responsibility and philanthropy

You are warmly invited to browse the pages on this website to see samples of Kirsten’s writing. She looks forward to talking to you about how she can help with your online and print content needs.
